- Event organizers retain full discretion to cancel or modify their activities at any time prior to the scheduled commencement.
2.2 Activity Participation
- Users may browse available activities and join activity chat group created by other community members.
- Participants may withdraw from scheduled activities at any time before the event begins.
- All participation is voluntary and at the user's own discretion and risk.
3. User Responsibilities and Conduct
3.1 Personal Safety and Due Diligence
- Meetro operates as a connection facilitator and does not conduct background checks, verify user identities, or monitor user behavior outside the platform.
- Users are solely responsible for exercising appropriate caution and judgment when meeting other individuals through the platform.
- We strongly recommend meeting in public places and informing trusted contacts of your plans.
3.2 Information Accuracy and Integrity
- Users must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when creating activities or updating their profiles.
- Meetro does not verify the accuracy of user-provided information and disclaims responsibility for any misinformation or misrepresentation.
3.3 Financial Independence
- Meetro does not process payments or facilitate financial transactions between users.
- Users are individually responsible for all personal expenses incurred during activities, including but not limited to meals, transportation and accommodations.
3.4 Attendance and Commitment
While we encourage reliable participation, Meetro does not guarantee user attendance at scheduled events and is not responsible for managing no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
4. Privacy and Safety Features
4.1 User Blocking and Communication Controls
- Users may block other members to prevent direct communication and limit profile visibility.
- Please note that messages from blocked users may still appear in shared group conversations.
4.2 Privacy Settings and Controls
- Users may adjust privacy settings to control the visibility of their approximate location in the Nearby Travelers map view.
5. Account Security and Verification
- Meetro reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts suspected of fraudulent activity, misconduct, or violation of these terms.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.
