No. Meetro is not a dating app. It is built for casual, real-world connection without the romantic pressure. Some people may meet new friends, some may find activity buddies, and some may simply join a plan instead of going alone.

Meetro is for locals, newcomers, solo travellers, digital nomads, students, remote workers, and anyone who wants to meet people through real plans instead of endless scrolling.

No. Travellers can use Meetro, but it is also for locals who want to expand their social circle, try new activities, or find people nearby who are keen to join a plan.

Meetro launches city by city so each community can grow with enough real activity and trust. Cape Town is the first launch city because it has a strong mix of locals, travellers, digital nomads, outdoor activities, food spots, markets, hikes, and social energy.

Activities & Hangouts

A hangout, or activity, is a casual plan that someone creates on Meetro. It could be coffee, a hike, drinks, football, food, a sunset plan, a market visit, gaming, wellness, music, art, travel, or anything people can join in real life.

Browse nearby activities in the app, choose one that looks interesting, and request to join. If the host approves you, you will be added to the activity group chat so everyone can coordinate.

Create an activity by choosing the type of plan, location, time, description, and maximum number of people. Once people request to join, you can approve or decline them.
