1. Platform Purpose and Scope

Meetro is exclusively designed as a social networking platform for travelers seeking platonic friendships and shared experiences. This platform is not intended for romantic pursuits or dating activities. Any use of Meetro for romantic solicitation or dating purposes constitutes a violation of our terms and will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

2. Community Standards and Conduct

• Respectful Communication: All community members must engage with courtesy, dignity, and mutual respect. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or any form of abusive behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
• Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding hate speech, discriminatory language, or dehumanizing content targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
• Authentic Representation: Users must maintain genuine and truthful profiles. Creating fraudulent accounts, impersonating others, or employing deceptive personas constitutes a serious violation of our community standards.
• Content Appropriateness: The sharing of explicit, vulgar, sexually provocative, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly forbidden. Unsolicited explicit imagery or messages will result in immediate account suspension.

3. Privacy Protection and Safety Protocols

• Personal Information Security: Users are responsible for protecting their privacy and must not share or solicit sensitive personal information, including but not limited to phone numbers, residential addresses, or email addresses in public forums.
• Travel Safety Measures: For security purposes, users should refrain from posting detailed travel itineraries, specific arrival times, or accommodation details in public spaces.
• In-Person Meeting Guidelines: When arranging face-to-face meetings, users must exercise appropriate caution, meet exclusively in public venues, inform trusted contacts of their plans, and maintain situational awareness at all times.
• Personal Responsibility Acknowledgment: Users acknowledge full responsibility for their personal safety during all interactions and events. Meetro Inc. expressly disclaims liability for any incidents, injuries, or damages occurring during user meetups or interactions.

4. Prohibited Activities and Violations

• Violence and Criminal Conduct: Any acts or threats of violence, stalking, physical intimidation, or sexual misconduct are strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
• Illegal Activities: Engagement in, promotion of, or facilitation of illegal activities, including but not limited to the sale, distribution, or use of controlled substances, is expressly forbidden.
• Fraudulent Behavior: Deceptive practices, fraudulent schemes, financial scams, or any form of dishonest conduct designed to exploit other users is prohibited.
• Spam and Disruptive Content: The distribution of unsolicited bulk messages, misleading links, promotional content, or any material designed to disrupt normal platform operations is not permitted.
• Harmful Content Distribution: Sharing content that promotes self-harm, violence, illegal activities, or poses a threat to public safety is strictly prohibited.

5. Violation Reporting and Enforcement

• Reporting Mechanisms: Users who encounter behavior that violates community guidelines or creates safety concerns should immediately report such incidents through the designated in-app reporting system. All reports are treated with strict confidentiality and investigated thoroughly.
• Content Moderation: Our platform employs a comprehensive moderation system utilizing both advanced automated detection tools and experienced human moderators to review reports and enforce community standards.
• Enforcement Actions: Violations may result in various enforcement measures including content removal, formal warnings, temporary account suspension, or permanent account termination. Severe violations may be escalated to appropriate law enforcement agencies.

6. User Accountability and Platform Integrity

• Single Account Policy: Each individual user is permitted to maintain only one active account on the platform. Account sharing or the creation of multiple accounts by a single individual is strictly prohibited.
• Account Maintenance: Accounts that remain inactive for a period exceeding twenty-four (24) months may be subject to deletion at the discretion of Meetro Inc.
• Content Consent: Users must not post, share, or distribute content involving other community members without obtaining explicit prior consent from all individuals depicted or referenced.

Meetro Inc. services are exclusively available to individuals who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years or older. Misrepresentation of age constitutes a material violation of our terms of service and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

9. User Blocking and Privacy Controls

• Blocking Functionality: Meetro provides comprehensive blocking capabilities to enable users to maintain their comfort, safety, and privacy within the platform environment.
• Implementation Process: Users experiencing discomfort or encountering inappropriate behavior may block other members directly through profile interfaces or conversation threads. Once implemented, blocked users will be unable to initiate contact or access the blocking user's profile information.
• Reporting Distinction: The blocking function operates independently of our violation reporting system. Users who encounter guideline violations should utilize the dedicated reporting mechanism in addition to implementing blocking measures.
• Feature Misuse: Abuse of blocking functionality for harassment purposes, including repeated blocking and unblocking of the same individual, constitutes a violation of these guidelines and may result in account restrictions or termination.
